I Don't Want to Be Rich. I Just Want My Fridays Back.

I sat on the couch last Friday after the kids went to bed and realized I wasn't tired from the day.

I was tired of it.

There's a word for that. The kind of tired that doesn't come from what you did. It comes from what the work keeps not giving back.

There's a gap between what a 9-5 gives you and what your life actually costs. Not just in money. The weekends feel borrowed, and the weight that sits on your chest every Sunday before you've done anything wrong is the gap showing up.

I've come to think that weight is a signal. Something is off in the math between what the job takes and what it gives back. The body figures it out before the brain can name it.

Meaningful work inside someone else's schedule is still someone else's schedule.

The Sunday dread used to hit me like clockwork. Another week of building someone else's thing while mine sat waiting. What I didn't understand then was that rest wasn't the answer.

Sleep doesn't fix a math problem. Grinding harder doesn't either.

The reason I'm building toward $100 a day isn't because it's life-changing money. It's because $100 a day is the number that changes what Friday feels like. The gap closes a little, and the tired finally has a different source.

I don't want to be rich. I just want my Fridays back. That's the business I'm building.
